Dr. Armin Schmiedeberg is a partner at Bain & Company in Duesseldorf and head of the European Industrial Goods & Services practice group.
He has extensive consulting experience in the steel and aluminum industry, in machinery and plant engineering and in the automobile supply industry. Among his clients are large industrial groups, privately held companies as well as financial investors with an industrial portfolio. In his more than 20 years in the industry, Armin has worked and lived in several Western European countries, South America and the Arabian peninsula.
Dr. Schmiedeberg holds a Masters degree in industrial engineering from Karlsruhe’s Institute of Technology, a Masters of Public Administration from Harvard University and a doctorate from the University of Bonn.
