Hernan Saenz is the managing partner of the Dallas, Houston and Mexico offices of Bain & Company. He is also a leader in the firm's Strategy, Organization and Performance Improvement practices.
He has more than 10 years of consulting experience and has worked in North America, Europe, the Pacific Rim and Latin America.
While at Bain, Hernan has served clients in the healthcare, consumer and industrial products, distribution and telecommunications industries. He has assisted clients in areas such as corporate and business unit strategy, growth and international expansion, organizational and supply chain realignment and operations turnarounds. He also holds expertise in full potential programs, revenue enhancement, cost reduction and major change programs.
Prior to joining Bain in 1998, Hernan was a faculty member in economics at INCAE, a business school in Latin America. In addition, he was a principal at a consulting firm serving financial institutions in Latin America.
Hernan earned an MBA and an MILR from Cornell University, as well as an MS in economics from Stanford University. He is also a graduate of Harvard University, where he received a BA in economics.
