Jeff Taylor is a partner in Bain & Company's Boston office. He is an expert in Bain's Telecommunications, Media and Technology (TMT) and Commercial Excellence practices.
He has more than 20 years of experience defining vision and execution plans, building businesses, developing teams and driving profitable growth.
Jeff primarily advises B2B clients in the technology and industrial sectors. He has extensive business strategy and operational experience, with a concentration on go-to-market and sales.
Jeff previously served in several operational roles at Vmware and EMC. He led sales strategy and operational teams, focused on all elements of go-to-market from strategy to quota design to sales forecasting. He also was a GM of a $1B storage business, where he built a new business model for entry level storage solutions and successfully launched and managed it. Prior to these roles, Jeff was a banker and Private Equity investor.
Jeff earned his MBA from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business, where he received the Mayer Prize as the top graduating student. He is also a graduate from Georgetown University's College of Arts and Sciences, where he concentrated on Economics and Theology.
