Jihyo Lee is a partner in Bain & Company's Seoul office. He is a core member of Bain's Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practices and Strategy practice.
Jihyo has worked intensively with leading global technology companies in Korea, Japan and China, helping with their core strategic issues such as competitive strategy, future scenario planning, turnarounds and new business development. His experience covers the entire spectrum of the ICT value chain from semiconductors and devices to IT infra and internet services.
In addition to his consulting work, he has authored three business books about global industry dynamics and their implications for the Korean economy and companies.
Jihyo initially joined Bain as an associate consultant in 2001, left to be entrepreneur in 2007 and came back as a manager in 2011.
He earned an MBA from Wharton School and an MS/BS from the Engineering School of Seoul National University.
