Joost Spits is a member of our Consumer Products, Change Management and Mergers & Acquisitions practices.

He leads our work at the intersection of operating model and consumer products, as well as M&A as a capability.

Joost predominantly advises consumer products and retail clients on operating model, M&A and strategy topics, with sector emphases on food and beverage and personal care.

He has a proven track record of delivering growth and value creation, with major engagements including:

  • Leading the turnaround and subsequent acquisitions and integrations of a private equity-owned coffee player ($17B valuation at IPO);
  • Leading the integration of two leading multinational grocery retailers; and
  • Leading the operating model restructuring and subsequent growth of a leading confectionery player.

Beyond his case work, Joost serves as the program director for our local summer associate training.

He previously worked in our Amsterdam office.

He holds an MBA from INSEAD and an M.Sc. in Technology Management from the University of Groningen.
