Markus Boettcher leads the European Performance Improvement practice. He also coordinates the portfolio company support business of Bain in Germany and Switzerland.
Prior to joining Bain, Markus was a business unit head of Mannesmann Dematic in China. He earned a degree in industrial engineering and management from University of Technology in Berlin and a PhD in industrial marketing at Sophia University Toyko and Ruhr-University Bochum.
