Pedro Cordeiro is a partner of Bain & Company in the São Paulo office. He joined Bain in 2007 and has more than 14 years of experience in management consulting.

Pedro has worked with top management of large national and multinational groups in oil & gas in Latin America, the USA and Europe.

Pedro’s oil & gas experience involves assignments with national oil companies (NOC), refineries, governments, and fuel retailers. He has led projects addressing entry strategy in O&G exploration and production, design and implementation of a trading organization (including risk management), investment and reconversion for specialty chemical production, JV strategy, creation of a regulatory framework, performance improvement and organizational redesign. Prior to joining Bain, he led Eccelera, the private equity arm of the Cisneros Group, one of the largest privately-held media and consumer goods conglomerates in the world. At Eccelera, he managed two funds that invested in the services, logistics, and technology sectors, and also provided support to the group on its overall strategy development process and some of Cisneros largest companies. Prior to that, Pedro was a partner at McKinsey & Co. in Brazil and a Brand Manager at Procter & Gamble in Venezuela.

Pedro has a BSc and an MSc in Nuclear Engineering, with a concentration in Plasma Physics, from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA).

He lived in Spain, Venezuela and the USA. Pedro is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
