Youngsuh Cho is a partner in Bain & Company's Seoul office. He is a member of the firm's Financial Services, Digital and Public Sector practices.
Youngsuh has more than 15 years of management consulting experience, serving clients in a wide range of industries and functions.
His work is primarily focused in the financial services industry as well as government-related public sector. He has advised leading financial groups, banks, insurers and credit card companies on a range of issues, including portfolio strategy, post-merger management, sales stimulation programs, auto claims management and CRM strategy.
Within the public sector, he has served clients in industries including international airports, utilities corporations and government. In these engagements, he has helped clients to address growth strategy with privatization, long-term growth strategy and future financial sector strategy.
Prior to joining Bain, Youngsuh worked for another global consultancy for 10 years. He also worked for three years as a Deputy Director at Korea's Ministry of Finance and Economy.
Youngsuh has a BA in economics from Seoul National University (summa cum laude). He also holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was selected as a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society.
