Africa growth brings local-born bankers home

After decades of losing its best and brightest to New York and London, Africa's fast growth and expanding financial markets are helping it to lure back highly skilled, local-born bankers. Emerging markets have helped power the global recovery, so much so, the International Monetary Fund warned on Monday, that some emerging economies may be growing too fast for their own good. Africa's $107 billion financial services industry is expected to grow at a compound annual rate of 15 percent to 2020, outpacing its economic expansion, consultancy Bain & Company said in a study released last week.
