Bain & Company Omnichannel Study is cited in a
Times article on Britain's online shopping trends. Boxing Day, one of the biggest days for shopping, resulted in approximately £367 from online sales alone in 2011. The Omnichannel Study "forecasts that, by 2020, 95 per cent of music and video and 75 per cent of books will be sold online. In an indication of how seriously luxury brands were beginning to take the internet, Bain found that in several categories online sales had become more pronounced the more upmarket the product."
