UNT's secret plans to dominate Dallas

Mark Gottfredson, partner of Bain & Company in Dallas, is quoted in a D Magazine article for his involvement in the UNT Dallas project. Dallas has been facing several struggles as it tries to establish the first public university in the city. To assist UNT Dallas project leader, Dr. John Ellis Price, "Bain partners told Price they would offer $1 million in consulting fees for the project, pro bono." Gottfredson adds, "Almost everyone agrees that we have an educational crisis in this country. So many people come out with degrees that don’t get them jobs, with high levels of debt that they can never pay off. The next big financial crisis in this country could be the whole student debt overhang. It’s an enormous problem."
