Rough-Diamond Producers Cautiously Upbeat on Price Outlook

Higher demand and constrained supply of diamonds may lead to increases in the price for rough diamonds. Bain & Company expects production to grow at a slower pace than demand, due to "constrained supplies and the fact that demand in China and India continues to grow at a rapid rate." This has led to a cautiously optimistic view of the outlook in the industry by diamond producers.
