As countries in the Asia Pacific region continue to develop and their economies mature, private equity general partners will have to change how they approach their portfolios to extract significant returns in the future. According to Bain & Company's Asia-Pacific Private Equity Report 2015, "PE firms operating in Asia, unlike in the past, can't count on buying companies at reasonable prices and watching their multiples expand alongside rapid GDP growth."
