Amazon, Netflix, HBO and a host of other less traditional content producers that are actively producing high-quality, original content in a range of genres, for audiences in the U.S. and internationally, have fueled "intense competition for stand-out, original programming," said Alex Bhak, a partner with Bain & Company.
