The Sydney office was Bain's first office in Australia, which initially opened in 1989 to provide Asia Pacific coverage for Bain's worldwide clients. The second Australian office was opened in 2000 in Melbourne and the two offices work together the Australian practice focuses on clients primarily in Australia and New Zealand.
