In 2004, Bain established its presence in the Indian market by opening the Bain Capability Centre (BCC) in New Delhi. The BCC supports Bain case teams across the globe to develop results-driven strategies, including critical industry or market analyses, competitive benchmarking and opportunity assessments. The BCC also plays a critical role in supporting Bain's Practice Areas, helping to further build on Bain's world-class intellectual capital. 

We work across a range of different industries and also have dedicated teams that focus on the private equity sector. Our work covers a wide variety of business issues for clients across the globe. Projects have included supporting due diligence on private equity deals in the US and Europe, developing the global growth strategy for a client in the Middle East, and identifying how a global shipping client could increase its profitability by changing its product mix.  

The BCC is staffed with a high-performing team of analysts who identify the key issues, execute the analysis, and make recommendations on the case work assigned by Bain case teams. 

Our people are passionate, proactive and pragmatic. They want to make a difference but they don't take themselves too seriously! We believe our people are our most important asset and we invest in them by providing formal and on-the-job training throughout their careers at the BCC.

We offer a flexible career path. The BCC mirrors Bain consulting in its organization structure.  Analysts can progress to Associate Team Leaders and Team Leaders managing BCC teams on global case work. There are transfer opportunities to various Bain offices at different points in one's BCC career.  Various transfer destinations include New York, Boston, London, Singapore and Sydney.  Analysts can also be considered for the Associate Consultant position in the Bain New Delhi consulting practice. Strong performers are typically promoted to Associate Team Leader or Associate Consultant in 18 months.
