Blacks at Bain (BABS) is an organization of black professionals whose vision is to facilitate the recruiting, retention, professional development and social cohesion of African-Americans at Bain & Company. BABS was founded in Boston with coordinated ties to other Bain offices.

Primary goals and objectives:

  • Increase black presence at Bain
  • Provide supporting resources for professional success and retention
  • Share knowledge
  • Mentor (formally/informally)
  • Have fun and build a sense of community
Activities include:
  • Annual conference
  • Interoffice dinners and events
  • Sponsorship and participation at major business school conferences
