WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM 

The Specialist, Market Reputation at Bain will develop and execute strategies to enhance the firm's market reputation, focusing on public relations, communications, and tailored marketing activities. This role involves identifying managing local and regional premium publications, copywriting in Arabic and English, digital marketing, social media, event management, and alumni relations, tailored to specific market needs in the Middle East.


They will play a crucial role in innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives that elevate brand awareness, assess the effectiveness of marketing programs, and help keep Bain top of mind with clients, prospects, key talent populations, and alumni. They will provide ongoing support to key internal stakeholders and collaborate extensively with other marketing teams across the region and globally, aligning with Bain’s broader marketing strategy and objectives.


WHAT YOU’LL DO

Marketing Strategy Execution (40%)

  • Public Relations: Manage in-market media and PR activities, including copywriting in Arabic and English, to reinforce Bain's positioning.
  • Tailored Content: Develop and distribute brand, digital, and creative content specific to the market context, coordinating with local agencies and third parties.
  • Digital & Social Media: Oversee local social media pages and Bain.com content for targeted audiences, crafting and distributing engaging social media posts.
  • Events & Conferences: Manage Bain-hosted and third-party events, providing logistical support and insights for conference planning.
  • Alumni Relations: Handle local alumni segmentation and engagement strategies, supporting firmwide, practice, and account-specific efforts.


Campaigns and Initiatives (30%)

  • Offer recommendations: Enhance the efficacy of marketing programs based on analysis of market trends and partner feedback.
  • Campaign management: Assist in managing targeted marketing campaigns and supporting activities, including identifying relevant third-party partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Content and Media Strategies: Contribute to the development of proactive and reactive media strategies, helping to ensure Bain's visibility and engagement with key local and international media.
  • Digital Marketing and Social Media: Assist in overseeing the Middle East website and other digital platforms, helping design campaigns that leverage global efforts to effectively reach target audiences.


Support and Collaboration (30%)

  • Collaborate with local, EMEA and global teams to ensure strategies are aligned and complement Bain Marketing’s overarching goals.
  • Facilitate regular updates among team members to ensure coordination and visibility of ongoing marketing efforts, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Budget Management: Support the budget management process for Market Reputation marketing activities, incorporating a test and learn approach to inform program evolution.


ABOUT YOU

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business / marketing / communications / social sciences, focus on marketing
  • 2-5 years of relevant B2B marketing experience
  • Proven track record in similar role
  • Ability to proactively conceive and suggest new approaches and solutions, influence senior leaders on key strategic issues
  • Provide advice to regional marketing leadership on programs and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, multi-tasking and prioritising as needed
  • Client-centric mind set
  • Ability to understand and work with consulting content and thought leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Proficient in English and Arabic
  • Willing to travel within Middle East (and potentially other locations) as needed
  • Kindly be aware that this position is based in Riyadh and requires Saudi Nationality as per the mandatory criteria


Preferred

  • Professional services marketing experience, or other sector(s) with content marketing focus
  • Relevant agency experience, or other developing impactful B2B campaigns with focus on premium media, digital channels
  • Experience managing employer branding initiatives
