Coaching
We pride ourselves on providing the best practical grounding in business. You will learn much from Bain's many training courses and from the experience you gain in your active role. But on top of this, we believe that your learning is sped up and enhanced through the formal and informal day-to-day coaching that you will receive from every one of your more senior colleagues. At Bain Amsterdam, we are proud of our open and informal culture that enables us to learn from one another.

In addition to regular feedback and coaching from your colleagues, you will have a mentor—typically a senior consultant or manager—who is directly responsible for your professional development at Bain. As a new associate consultant you will also receive a coach who will introduce you to the informal parts of the organization.

Evaluations
At Bain your development is closely monitored to ensure that you have the best opportunities to fulfill your full potential. Bain's review system will help you to identify and fully utilize your strengths and improve on your weaknesses. You will receive a review on the work you have done after each project in addition to semi-annual evaluations. Your performance and personal development plan will be discussed in all openness. The goal is to provide you with the means to advance to the next level.
