Why Bain?

Above all, I chose Bain because of the amazing group of people you get to work with. I remember that making a decision on the offer was easy. I was really looking forward to working with the people that I met during the interview process; I knew they could be not only great colleagues but also friends and I was right. I still get together with some of them after 10 years, even when they no longer work for the company.

My passion

Every day, I get the chance to work with brilliant and special people in their own way, and I have the opportunity to contribute to helping them develop and become stronger professionals. That is my passion within Bain.

Outside, I love to spend time outdoors with my family.

My favorite case

While working with a small company, we got to learn the ins and outs of a new industry and help a skeptical management team define initiatives to improve business performance. What made this project special was that, once they got past the initial resistance, the company's management really put all of their energy into implementing the initiatives. After a short amount of time, they were already seeing positive results.

My personal results story

On my first project when I was fresh out of university, I got to work with a leading CPG to turn the business around. I worked on redefining the product portfolio to make sure that they were focusing their capacity on the highest demand and most profitable items to serve the market well and reduce complexity.

It was an intense first experience, but the company did turn around and some of the clients we worked with then are still Bain promoters.

My perspective on diversity at Bain

As the leader of the Women at Bain initiative in the Mexico office, I have seen firsthand how much Bain cares about promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace. This is a company where you will be valued based on how you uniquely contribute to the performance of the firm and its clients.

A final thought

There are many great companies out there where you can work, so as you make your decision, remember that your job will take a up big portion of your day. Make sure you pick one that makes you look forward to getting out of bed most mornings, that will challenge you intellectually and where you find people you enjoy spending time with. Bain met all those criteria for me and I hope it does for you, too!
