The Sydney office opened in 1989 to provide Asia Pacific coverage for Bain's worldwide clients. The Melbourne office opened in 2000 and Perth opened in 2011. With the expansion of Bain's presence in Asia, the Australian practice now focuses on clients in Australia and New Zealand.
