Take the opportunity to experience more about what we do at Bain via our EMEA flagship event BAINWORKS – in the beautiful city of Barcelona. During an amazing few days, you will experience what it is like to work on a Bain case team. Roll up your sleeves alongside our consultants and discover if Bain and a career in consulting is the correct choice for you!

We are looking for Solvay students (final year of bachelor’s studies, any year of master’s or PhD’s as of September 2016), exceptional personalities, who have sharp analytical skills, high motivation level and outstanding interpersonal skills.

If you have any questions on Bain and BAINWORKS, please do not hesitate to contact Elise Vanderclausen (+32.2.893.41.71).

Who can apply for BAINWORKS 2016?
Solvay students (business engineering or management science at ULB and VUB) in their third year of Bachelor, in Master or doing a PhD as of September 2016, who have strong (extra-)academic backgrounds, sharp analytical skills, high motivation level and outstanding interpersonal skills.

Why should I apply to BAINWORKS?
BAINWORKS will give you a sneak peak of the consulting world. It is a unique opportunity to meet experienced consultants from all over Europe, some of which also studied at Solvay, and get to know our industry.

When and where is BAINWORKS 2016 to be held?
14th to 16th October 2016 in Barcelona, Spain.

In what language will the event be held?
English will be the language of the event as participants from Belgium, Finland, Germany, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, Russia and Poland will also be present.

When is the application deadline?
You can apply until the 15th of July and we will let you know if you are selected by the end of the month.

What costs will I have to incur?
We will cover all costs for your travel to the country as well as for board and lodging.

What are the travel requirements?
To enter Spain you need only a valid passport or identity card. Entry requirements can change on a short notice and therefore you should check in advance any updated entry requirements that might be applicable to you. You can find further information on the website of Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.

Does an invitation to an event automatically qualify me for an internship or direct job at Bain?
An invitation to an event does not automatically qualify you for a job or internship directly following the event. However, you can rest assured that we see great potential in you for a career at Bain and that you are well on the way towards qualifying for an internship or direct job.

Does an application rejection for the event also mean a general rejection for the full-time/internship process at Bain & Company?
No, you can still apply afterwards for a full-time or summer position. We generally receive a large number of applications for events so we have some difficult decisions to make as the number of candidates selected is limited. Inevitably, a decision between well-qualified candidates must rest upon relatively small differences in qualifications and experience.
