Michiel joined Bain & Co in 2007 after graduating as a
commercial engineer from KULeuven and a exchange experience at
Wharton, USA. In combination with his studies, Michiel was
the head leader of his local boy scouting group and engaged in
several music projects as a guitar player/singer.
It is the same interest for a diversified, hard-working and
fascinating life that brought him to Bain & Co.
"As a strategy consultant you get to see an immense variety of
projects, in different industries and different countries.
I was especially attracted to the enormous challenge to
crack each case, together with the tremendous learning experience
that comes with each project. Moreover, the amazing working
atmosphere and fantastic co-workers at Bain make the projects even
more fun and rewarding."
Michiel uses his spare time to go out and catch up with his friends
and family. He also loves travelling abroad and meeting new people
(which fortunately comes with the job).
