All Bainies attend global training sessions on a regular basis in locations like Phuket, Cancun, Miami and Barcelona. These sessions also provide an opportunity to interact with Bainies from other parts of the world. More frequent training sessions are held in the Bain India office.
Knowledge and experience sharing
Regular experience sharing sessions are held in the Bain India office. In addition, learnings from Bain's global practices are documented and readily accessible online to all Bainies.
Feedback and mentoring
Every Bainie receives feedback regularly during each engagement. Every individual has a consensus reviewer, who monitors his or her performance over a longer term. In addition, each Bainie has a mentor to turn to for advice on anything.
Even during engagements, the team leadership tries to ensure that each person gets sufficient opportunity to develop in the areas he or she wants to.
Transfers
Bain India facilitates its consulting staff in spending some time at other offices. This allows each Bainie to gain some international experience.
