Luca is a consultant in the Milan office. He attended the
Università degli studi di Verona where he earned a degree in
business, as well as the London Business School where he earned an
MBA with a concentration in private equity. At Bain, he is involved
in community service.
Education and experience
"I joined the Emerging Market fixed income division of Royal Bank
of Canada right after my business degree. I worked as a trader out
of London, New York and Toronto for four years and got promoted to
Vice-President. I then decided to take up the MBA at London
Business School where I developed significant insights into the
strategy consulting world."
Case experience
"I have had experience in the furniture manufacturers,
private equity, and fashion industries and my capabilities include
financial analyses, business acumen, marketing, and ability to deal
with senior management (CEO, CFO)."
Flexible and enriching environment
"I really enjoy the project variety, quick responsibility, and the
opportunity to be entrepreneurial within a company that fosters
creativity and personal initiatives. I also love the
approachability of senior people, as well as the results
orientation at Bain. We are not academic but very pragmatic and
action oriented."
Outside the office
"I love traveling. One of my most memorable trips was when I went
from London to Mongolia by motorbike (across 15 countries, 20,000
kms) in favour of Save the Children."
