What is your background pre-Bain? And what is your
current role at Bain and how long have you been
here?
Before Bain, I was a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the
US and Asia. I've been at Bain since August 2000 (with time in our
San Francisco, New York and Chicago offices). I am now a Partner in
the Financial Services and Consumer Products practices in London.
In addition, I lead consultant recruiting and the Women@Bain
programme for the London office.
How would you describe your role at Bain? What have been
your most memorable case experiences? What are the results
(client-related as well as internal) of which you are most
proud?
As a Partner, I'm an owner of the business.
I have worked on a huge variety of client cases, from post acq
blueprint work for a snowmobile manufacturer to bidding for a
retail credit card portfolio. The best cases are usually a
combination of a great team (both internal and client) and great
results.
Internally, I'm very proud of leading the diversity efforts in
Chicago (including Women@Bain and our Bisexual, Gay and Lesbian
group) and hiring some terrific people in London.
Finally, tell us three interesting facts about yourself/
your interests outside of work.
I have two kids, a husband and a dog. Not always in that order.
