Richard Jackson is a partner at Bain & Company based in the London office. Richard is the head of Bain London’s M&A practice and a member of Bain’s global Private Equity practice.
Richard has over 12 years consulting experience with particular focus on conducting commercial due diligence for both corporate and private equity clients. Richard has advised clients in multiple geographies in developed and emerging markets - including Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia. Richard has worked with clients across a range of industries including industrial goods & services, oil & gas, financial services, retail and consumer products.
Project examples cover the broad range of activities required to assess investment opportunities including review of market fundamentals, competitive position, profitability, performance improvement potential, synergies, separation and post-merger integration planning.
Richard has MA and MEng degrees in Manufacturing Engineering from Cambridge University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. In addition to his consulting experience, Richard worked for three years in the private equity sector and two years in industry.
After enjoying several years in South Africa experiencing much that the country has to offer, Richard now lives in West London with his wife and young daughter.
