Apply

We hope you will consider joining our Iberian team. Candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish. Knowledge of other European languages is an advantage considering the international nature of most of our assignments.

Please complete the online application for AC or ACI positions at any of Bain's worldwide offices. This simple application form asks for basic contact details, your education and employment history, as well as a resume and cover letter.

Please review the following guidelines when submitting your application online:

  • Candidates may apply for a position at up to three offices. Please list the offices in the order of your preference. You do not need to complete a separate application for each office
  • Do not use your browser's "Back" button while applying, or you will be logged out of your session
  • To complete your application, you must attach your resume/CV, cover letter and transcripts as either Microsoft Word (.doc) or PDF (.pdf) files
  • You can save your application at any point and return to work on it later. To access your saved application, you will need to type in your ID (email address) and the password you created at the beginning of the application process

This application should only be used to apply for a consulting position. To apply for a non-consultant position, contact the Madrid office directly

Interviews

Bain Ibérica’s interviews are designed to assess your skills in situations that are similar to Bain case assignments. The interview process involves:

  • A Multiple choice test: Analytical exam used to evaluate critical reasoning and problem solving. The exam must be finished in 75 minutes
  • One-on-one case interviews with an experienced member of our team.

Successful candidates will participate in two rounds of two 45-minute interviews. In each interview, you will be presented with a short business problem and then asked to structure the problem and recommend a practical solution. Your interview may begin with an opportunity to share your achievements and future goals. You should also have time at the end of your interviews to ask questions

Since each case interview will entail a discussion of an actual Bain case, you will also gain some insights into what it is like to work at Bain. We encourage you to prepare for your case interviews.

First round
You will meet with two senior consultants or managers if you are invited to interview with Bain.

The bulk of the first round of interviews will revolve around the discussion of Bain cases. Your interviewer will present a short business problem and then ask you to structure the problem and recommend a practical solution.

Your interview may kick off with an opportunity to share your achievements and future goals. You should also have time at the end to ask your interviewer questions.

Second round
Those successfully passing the first round will participate in a second round of interviews, in our office. You will meet with Bain principals or partners during this final round.
