Why Bain?

Bain was the obvious choice for me- an incredible, top firm with a unique culture, a passion for results and a strong emphasis on professional development. Everyone here is personally interested in helping you succeed, and that was very apparent right from the start.

My passion at Bain and outside of the office

At Bain, I want to learn as much as I can. In one year, I've worked for a not-for-profit, a life insurance company, a telecom and now a gold mining company!

I have many passions outside of Bain as well- traveling, singing, reading and staying physically fit.

My favorite (recent) case

My last case was a cost and performance benchmarking study for three telecommunications companies in three countries. My role was to compare network architecture and performance metrics across the three carriers. This case was particularly interesting for me given my background in electrical engineering where I learned about cellular networks. That's one of the great things Bain has to offer: we serve clients in a wide variety of industries. You have the ability to shape your career to do the things you love.

My perspective on diversity at Bain

Bain has an incredible network of strong, successful women who invest in seeing other women excel. Formal and informal mentoring, social women's events and women's initiatives are just some of the ways to connect with and learn from amazing role models.

A final thought

If you're thinking about joining a management consulting firm, do your homework: find out which firm's culture suits you best and which one will help you succeed at the things that inspire you.
