Social impact

Driven by the passion of our team, Bain Toronto is involved in numerous community projects. Over the years, our commitment has taken many forms, from after-school tutoring at St. Christopher House and holiday events at the Red Door Shelter, to pro bono projects with the Nature Conservancy of Canada and Special Olympics Canada.

Special Olympics Canada

Special Olympics CanadaBain and Special Olympics Canada (SOC) have worked together over the last decade on the organization's highest priority strategic issues.

Special Olympics Canada's mission is to enrich the lives of Canadians with intellectual disabilities through sport. The Special Olympics Movement not only provides athletes with access to physical activity and a strong community, but also aims to break down social barriers associated with intellectual disabilities.

They provide community sport programs and competitions to more than 40,000 athletes every year in communities across Canada, with the support of over 20,000 coaches and volunteers.

Special Olympics Canada

Bain has supported Special Olympics Canada in renewing their approach to corporate fundraising, with an objective of expanding relationships with existing partners and developing new partnerships.

Now armed with a clear strategy, a redefined value proposition that incorporates both impact stories and metrics, and a comprehensive and targeted approach, Special Olympics Canada is further growing their partnership base. Originally focused on corporate, the new tools developed by Bain help drive revenue growth from other funding sources to ultimately support the growth of the movement and change even more lives.

We are excited by our partnership with Special Olympics and have seen firsthand the incredible impact that they create!
