Experienced professionals

We recruit experienced professionals year-round. Your years of relevant experience will help determine which role you should apply for at Bain.

If needed, your position level will be adjusted during the interviews. Fluency in English and Polish is required.

You will not be hired to specialize further in your current field of expertise, but instead to leverage this expertise in your assignments and broaden your skills and industry experience. An induction program with formal training in business concepts and technical matters, along with close coaching, will help build your career rapidly within Bain. As with all our consulting staff, performance and progress are formally evaluated every six months, leading to tailor-made professional development advice. People who have been through this program, as well as senior staff from our organization, are open to discussing the possible benefits of such a career move before you start the formal recruiting process.

Those interested in non-consultant positions should visit our consulting support services page.

Bain’s interview format involves a combination of case and experience interviews to help us get to know you better. Since each of the case interviews will entail a discussion of an actual Bain case, you will also gain some insights into what it is like to work at Bain. We encourage you to prepare for your case interviews.

Successful candidates will participate in two rounds of interviews. The first round will have three 45-minutes interviews, and the second round will have two 60-minute interviews.

First round
Your interview may begin with an opportunity to share your achievements and future goals and you should have time at the end to ask questions.

You will meet with three consultants / managers and your interviews will focus on a discussion of Bain cases. Your interviewer will present a short business problem and then ask you to structure the problem and recommend a practical solution.

Second round
You will meet with Bain partners and have at least one case interview during the second round. You may also have an experience interview. In the experience interview, your interviewer will ask traditional résumé and behavioral questions, as well as questions about a mini-case based on your experiences, to better understand you and your interest in Bain. If you do not receive a separate experience interview, you should expect experience interview-type questions as part of your case interviews.
