I joined the Bain Capability Network as an analyst in 2007, when Bain started campus recruitment in India. I helped set up the BCN's regional private equity practice and represent the group at regional leadership meetings in Europe every year. As part of my initial training, I went on a transfer to Bain’s London office to work closely with the case team and client on a due diligence in the food ingredients industry. I've also initiated development of new initiatives at the BCN, including a supply chain practice.
During my time at the BCN, I've worked across a variety of industries and capabilities for clients around the globe. Besides the London transfer, I have transferred to the Rio office to work for an oil and gas major and to the New Delhi office on pro bono work for a key industry association.
"The BCN is a special place, primarily because of its people. I've had the opportunity to work with some of the smartest, most inspirational and diverse individuals globally, which has allowed me to develop professionally and personally."
I've also been part of the Indian team at the Bain World Cup in Boston and Munich, managed the Bindaas@BCN team (which is responsible for all the fun office events!) and helped organize multiple offsites for Bain India.
I have a degree in economics (Hons.) from Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi, and am certified by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in supply chain analytics.
In my free time, I love to travel, and would do anything to get on a plane! My favorite destinations so far have been Brazil and Argentina.
