While at Bain, Yegor has launched and facilitated major turnaround programs, led strategy design projects at both the corporate and business division level, assisted clients in M&A-related projects and advised leading financial services and private equity players on governance and organization issues.
Prior to joining Bain in 2007, Yegor spent seven years in the CIS franchise of Citigroup, covering various bank activities in Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan. His experience with Citi ranged from risk management and finance to strategy and business planning. He was also a member of the bank's local Assets and Liabilities Committee, first in Kiev and then in Moscow.
Yegor received his MA summa cum laude from the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (EERC/KSE) in 2001. He has several scientific publications, one of which was awarded a J. Michael Montias Prize by the Association for Comparative Economic Studies (USA). He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
