Paolo Mevio

Paolo Mevio is a member of the firm's Private Equity, Consumer Products and Retail practices.

He has more than 30 years of industry and consulting experience and previously served as Bain Italy's office head.

Paolo has an extensive experience in the world of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and packaging, where he has led assignments on PMI, M&A, growth strategy and operations improvement.  

Paolo is an active member of the Private Equity practice, which he founded and led in Italy. He advises private equity funds on their investments in companies and works with management teams to help acquired companies significantly outgrow their markets. He also has deep direct experience in the investment business, having directly led several initiatives.

Outside of Bain, he has held a variety of board positions. Prior to joining the firm in 1994, he worked at Nestlè as Director of Administration and Finance.

He holds a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University.
