WHAT MAKES US A GREAT PLACE TO WORK
We are proud to be consistently recognized as one of the world’s best places to work. We are currently the top ranked consulting firm on Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work list and have earned the #1 overall spot a record seven times. Extraordinary teams are at the heart of our business strategy, but these don’t happen by chance. They require intentional focus on bringing together a broad set of backgrounds, cultures, experiences, perspectives, and skills in a supportive and inclusive work environment. We hire people with exceptional talent and create an environment in which every individual can thrive professionally and personally.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
NextGen Software Solutions (NGSS) is an integrated team of technology experts who take new software products within Bain from zero to scale. We discover, build, and support applications around the company’s most important intellectual property and serve as internal experts on Bain-developed software.
You will specifically support Coro, Bain's suite of proprietary SaaS and data tools designed to help B2B companies drive commercial excellence. Coro’s solutions span areas like opportunity mapping, channel growth, and profitability analysis—enabling client teams to generate faster, sharper insights through cloud-based software and advanced analytics.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a Junior Product Designer (Associate), you will join our NGSS Product Design team, focused on building intuitive, high-quality digital products that enhance Bain’s consulting work.
This is an early-career opportunity designed to help you build strong foundations in product design while contributing to real-world solutions. You’ll support work across the full product lifecycle—from discovery and research through to design delivery.
You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to translate user and business needs into clear, effective design solutions. Along the way, you’ll develop skills in human-centered design, interaction design, and visual communication, while gaining exposure to modern product development practices, including AI-enabled tools.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Contribute to problem framing, requirements definition, and design discussions
- Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs using tools like Figma
- Apply design systems and UX/UI best practices, including accessibility standards
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers in agile delivery environments
- Support research activities such as user interviews, synthesis, and persona development
- Assist in creating journey maps, workflows, and insights from research findings
- Participate in design reviews and continuously improve your craft through feedback
- Leverage emerging tools, including AI-assisted design, to enhance productivity and quality
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in product design, UX/UI, or similar (including internships, academic projects, or bootcamps)
- Foundational proficiency in design tools such as Figma or Miro
- Basic understanding of user-centered design and interaction design principles
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a willingness to ask questions and learn
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality work with guidance
- Curiosity and openness to learning new tools, including AI-enabled design workflows
- Experience with B2B software or agile environments is a plus
This role follows a hybrid model, with an expectation of approximately 40% in-office presence in our Warsaw office, in line with NGSS team practices.
