WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

Celerity is a fast-growing start-up that is a part of Bain and Company and is focused on delivering high-impact pricing projects.  Celerity is seeking to recruit a client delivery Pricing Consultant who will work closely with Celerity leadership and our Pricing Center of Excellence to execute pricing projects across industries and client contexts. You will be responsible for conducting rigorous pricing analyses, building models and insights from complex datasets, and translating those insights into clear recommendations that improve client revenue performance. 


WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

The Senior Associate will independently deliver pricing analyses and own defined workstreams within client engagements.  You will apply analytical and pricing expertise to develop recommendations and support client discussions while contributing to high-quality project delivery.


You will also contribute to building standardized tools, templates, and analytical workflows that improve the efficiency and consistency of pricing delivery.  And will contribute IP for on-going improvement of our Celerity pricing approaches.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Execute and begin to lead pricing analyses including price-volume analysis, segmentation, profitability diagnostics, and customer-level analyses. Conduct market research, including surveys and expert calls (30%) 
  • Data preparation and management (data cleaning, structuring, validation, and dataset creation) (20%) 
  • Translate analytical outputs into structured insights and support client deliverables with increasing independence (20%) 
  • Support and begin to lead client discussions to collect data and share insights (15%) 
  • Support development and execution of repeatable tools, templates, and standardized workflows and contribute to knowledge capture and methodology improvement (15%)


WORK MODEL / TRAVEL

This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence at least 3 days per week.


ABOUT YOU

Required

  • 2+ years consulting pricing experience and/or industry experience
  • BA or equivalent
  • Pricing consulting experience OR industry pricing experience 
  • Experience building financial or pricing models 
  • Experience conducting quantitative business analysis 
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of analytical workstreams and deliver outputs with limited supervision
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem solving 
  • Advanced analytics and modelling capabilities 
  • Strong communication and synthesis skills 
  • Ability to work with messy datasets and derive insights 
  • Emerging ability to manage workstreams and coordinate with team members


Preferred:

  • MBA or advanced degree 
  • Distinct pricing experience, ideally with experience running quantitative analyses, working with large datasets, and building pricing models. 
  • Prior business consulting experience 
  • Proficiency in big data analysis tools such as Alteryx, Python and/or R
