Shaun Heal

Shaun is a member of the Technology Insights Group (TIG) within the Private Equity practice.

Within TIG, he has worked with CTOs and CIOs of global fintechs on technology due diligence and strategy to deliver value to our private equity clients. He focuses on supporting technology assessments and strategic direction. 

Before joining us in September 2025, Shaun had over 25 years of experience as a chief architect and technologist across banking, fintech, and consulting. He combines board-level influence and full-stack architecture expertise with a background in counseling and psychology, enabling him to bridge vision and execution with both technical and human perspectives.

He has held senior roles including deputy chief architect for global operations at an international high street bank and principal engineer at a high-growth fintech, where he helped design and build the cloud-native core banking platform underpinning the UK’s leading digital bank by consumer choice.
