BAIN & COMPANY’S KEITH BEVANS NAMED TO THE EMPOWER 100 ETHNIC MINORITY EXECUTIVES LIST, PRESENTED BY THE FINANCIAL TIMES

New York – May 31, 2018 – Keith Bevans, a Chicago-based partner with Bain & Company and global head of the firm’s consultant recruiting, has been named by the Financial Times as one of the 2018 “EMpower 100 Ethnic Minority Executives.”

Bevans was recognized for his role as the global head of consultant recruiting for Bain & Company. His team identifies the best talent across channels, evaluates and screens applicants, and ultimately is responsible for hiring them into Bain’s 56 offices. Additionally, he leads recruiting activities for the firm’s diversity groups, including Blacks at Bain, Latinos at Bain, Veterans at Bain, BGLAD, the firm’s worldwide LGBT-employee network, and Women@Bain. Bevans, who previously work in Bain & Company’s Healthcare and Performance Improvement practices, also supports Bain's client work in areas related to talent acquisition, development and diversity.

“It’s an honor to be recognized by the FT for the critically important work our team is doing at Bain & Company,” said Bevans. “Diversity is imperative to our continued success as a firm. Leading Bain’s efforts to deliver on its commitment to attracting, developing, and retaining the best talent in our industry is a privilege.”

Outside of Bain & Company, Bevans serves on the board of the Ancona school in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago. Bevans’ prior board work includes a leadership role at Trinity UCC, a predominantly Black church in Chicago and a board position at Alternatives Inc., a non-profit that provides crisis support services, restorative justice training, and after-school programs for at-risk youth throughout Chicago.

Bevans joined Bain & Company in 1996. He earned his MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and his Bachelor and Master of Engineering from MIT.

The annual EMpower list recognizes 100 peer-nominated senior business leaders who are helping to make the workplace a more welcoming place for ethnic minority employees. Bevans and his fellow honorees will be recognized at an awards gala on May 31 in New York. Coverage of the honorees and the event will appear in the Financial Times.
