BOSTON—January 22, 2025—Bain & Company ranked as number one on Glassdoor’s 17th annual Employees’ Choice Awards, honoring the Best Places to Work in 2025. The firm has earned the number one ranking a record seven times, and it is the only company to consistently rank in the top four since Glassdoor founded the list in 2008.
The Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Awards are based on the input of employees who voluntarily provide anonymous feedback on Glassdoor by completing a company review about their job, work environment, and employer over the past year.
In their reviews on Glassdoor, Bain employees praised the firm’s collaborative culture and investment in its people’s learning and career growth, highlighting the firm’s high-performing teams, challenging and rewarding work, and overall camaraderie as key factors in their positive feedback.
“We are honored to receive this recognition by our employees, which speaks volumes about the exceptional community we have built together at Bain,” said Ivan Hindshaw, Bain & Company’s chief talent officer. “We have been especially focused on investing in our employees’ growth over the past year, including upskilling our global teams to meet the moment with AI. It’s this culture of professional development, collaboration, and innovation that our employees celebrated in their Glassdoor reviews, and we are inspired to continue building it together in the years ahead.”
Bain has moved rapidly to make pioneering internal use of state-of-the-art proprietary AI tools, now deployed worldwide to equip its 19,000-strong multi-disciplinary teams with a powerful suite of AI technology. It has made 15 key AI-powered tools and solutions, and more than 200 additional AI-led innovations, available to its teams to enhance their efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness.
“Incredible professional development accelerator. Great people, hard problems,” said one employee on Glassdoor.
“Bain has a reputation for investing in its employees' growth, with intensive training programs and continuous mentorship,” said another. “You can gain broad and deep business knowledge, which can be valuable for your entire career.”
The Employees’ Choice Award winners for the Best Places to Work 2025 are determined using Glassdoor’s proprietary awards algorithm, and each employer’s rating is determined based on the quantity, quality and consistency of Glassdoor-approved company reviews submitted by U.S.-based employees between October 17, 2023 and October 16, 2024. According to Glassdoor, during the year-long eligibility period, employers considered for the large list must have received at least 75 ratings for each of the nine workplace attributes (overall company rating, career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values, diversity and inclusion, senior management, work-life balance, recommend to a friend, and six-month business outlook). The final list is compiled using Glassdoor’s proprietary algorithm, led by its Economic Research Team, and considers quantity, quality, and consistency of reviews. Complete awards methodology can be found here.
