WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You'll join Bain's Global Alumni team, which supports engagement with Bain's global alumni community through communications, storytelling, digital community experiences, events, campaigns, and other initiatives designed to help alumni stay connected with Bain and with one another.
You'll work closely with colleagues across the Global Alumni team as well as partners across Digital Mailings, Events, Employer Brand, Social Media, DE&I and affinity teams, local offices, and regional alumni teams. You'll also support engagement through BeyondBain, Bain's alumni engagement platform.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As the Specialist, Global Alumni Engagement, you'll support the execution of alumni communications and engagement activities across newsletters, campaigns, storytelling, BeyondBain, events, and community initiatives.
You'll help keep work organized, accurate, on time, and aligned with Bain's voice and brand standards while supporting reporting, testing, and process improvement.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Draft, build, QA, and coordinate alumni newsletters and email campaigns.
- Curate content across Bain news, alumni updates, jobs, events, and learning resources.
- Support alumni storytelling, including profiles, social content, and short-form features.
- Support engagement on BeyondBain, including groups, posts, and community activity.
- Coordinate communications for campaigns, events, and priority alumni initiatives.
- Manage timelines, trackers, approvals, and stakeholder inputs.
- Track engagement metrics and prepare first-pass performance summaries.
- Support A/B testing and maintain templates, QA checklists, and repeatable processes.
ABOUT YOU
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in communications, email marketing, content operations, community management, alumni relations, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Excellent organization and project coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and sound judgment for external-facing communications.
- Experience with email marketing, CRM, social media, community platforms, or related tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams, geographies, and functions.
- Ability to synthesize information into clear, engaging communications.
Working Model
This role follows a hybrid working model in-office presence is required at least 1 day per week, it also involves collaboration with a global team across time zones.
U.S. COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bain's best-in-class benefits package.
Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range to be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows:
- The good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, licensure/certifications, training, and skill level.
- In Atlanta the range is $ 64,000-76,750
- In Boston the range is $ 73,500- 88,250
- In Chicago the range is $ 70,500- 84,500
- Annual discretionary performance bonus.
- This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation.
- 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date.
