Ming Tsai is a partner in Bain & Company's New York office. He is an expert in Bain's Information Technology practice.
Ming has more than 30 years of industry and consulting experience. As an IT expert, he works with clients to determine the technology capabilities needed to support their long-term goals and thrive in a digital age.
Ming holds particular expertise in IT capabilities, services and strategies, as well as omni-channel strategies. He has extensive experience across a range of industries, including retail, consumer goods and services, high technology, pharmaceuticals, financial services and telecommunications.
Ming previously worked in Bain's Johannesburg office. Prior to joining Bain, he was Co-Founder, Chief Client Officer and Global Managing Partner at Infosys Consulting, as well as the Global Industry Leader of Retail Industry for IBM business consulting. He was named one of the world's top 25 consultants in 2009 by Consulting Magazine.
He holds an MBA in Marketing and Management from Columbia Business School and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Yale University.
