André

André Chaves is a Partner at Bain & Company in the São Paulo office. He joined Bain in 2004.

André has experience working with top management in industries such as retail, consumer goods, financial services, textiles and logistics.

André is affiliated to the Retail and Consumer Goods practices – in these industries he has experience in subverticals such as groceries, apparel, consumer electronics, home textiles, hygiene, among others.

André led engagements addressing corporate and business unit strategy, M&A, IPO support, joint venture and new businesses design, new business development, organization redesign, demand planning and inventory management

André’s core capability is on Customer Strategy and Marketing, on which he led multiple cases on customer relationship management, category management, new store formats, brand strategy and positioning, new product development and go-to-market strategy

He is a core member of digital and advanced analytics practices

André has a BA in Economics from UFMG, and holds an MBA with honors from the Kellogg School of Management (USA).

He is fluent in Portuguese and English, and has knowledge of Spanish and German.
