Jon Van Der Veen is a member of our M&A and Divestitures and Customer Strategy practices.

Over nearly a decade with us, Jon has advised clients across industries, including Advanced Manufacturing and Services, Retail, Travel and Leisure, and Healthcare. He also advises our Private Equity clients on transactions and PE-backed M&A.

His recent engagements have involved brand and marketing strategy, M&A, and supply chain & procurement across the industrials, transportation and government services sectors. His case work has largely centered on the retail sphere — especially mass, grocery, and specialty retail — where he has led projects spanning omnichannel merchandising and advanced retail buying.

Jon is also a leader in our Social Impact practice, with expertise in international development and financial inclusion.

He previously worked for another top consulting firm, where he advised financial services clients. He was also a financial analyst for Quantum.

Jon holds an MBA from Georgetown University and bachelor’s degrees in both mathematics and philosophy from the University of Washington.
