Bain's Executive Assistants and Manager Assistants work in partnership with our senior leadership to manage calendars, build client relationships and support case teams. Our Office Services teams ensure that each of our offices around the world are equipped to run smoothly, providing a high standard of customer service daily.
Finance is responsible for the accounting and reporting of the firm's financial results and for working with clients, employees and vendors on finance matters. It takes a large group of people to manage the various responsibilities of the finance function, and we have developed specialized teams of experts to achieve our objectives.
Graphics supports Bain case teams by designing and editing powerful slides for client presentations. Team members create advanced artwork and manipulate photos using software such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
Information Services provides secondary research services and access to external published information and experts. Researchers are aligned to Bain's practice areas to offer specialized industry expertise. Supporting all of our offices from 30 locations, the IS staff speaks 31 languages.
Knowledge Management harnesses the best of Bain’s individual and collective expertise. As key members of Bain’s practices, Knowledge Management employees contribute thought leadership, content knowledge and operations support to case teams and practice leaders.
The Legal team ensures compliance with all applicable laws and the industry's highest professional standards across all of our global offices. Expertise includes data privacy, technology, contracts and employment law.
The mission of Global Marketing is to advance Bain's reputation by reinforcing internally and externally a "one firm" identity around the world. Our capabilities span brand management, public relations, digital marketing, product marketing, editorial, CRM, alumni relations, internal communications and creative services. Additionally, Global Marketing supports regions, local offices and practice areas in their awareness and relationship-building efforts.
Next-Generation Product Management
Next-Generation Product Management helps Bain's practices turbocharge their products across four dimensions: Technology Tools & Analytics; Benchmarks & Databases; Delivery Models & Partnerships; and Visual Design & Marketing. These tools are deeply embedded with clients and have been used successfully in more than 400 cases.
The Talent Management team is made up of Recruiting, Human Resources, Training, and the Bain Career Advisory (BCA). The Recruiting team markets, targets, screens and hires the best talent for all Bain offices. Human Resources supports and advises staff and managers in matters related to recruiting, benefits, compensation, performance, career management, employee relations, and Bain's policies and programs. The Training team is responsible for global, in-office and digital/online learning at Bain. The BCA takes pride in preserving lifelong relationships with our global network of alumni, now more than 13,000 strong.
Our Technology Services Group includes roles across technical customer service, software application development/implementation, project management, infrastructure, and IT Security. Fun fact: the team collectively blocks 1.2M spam email viruses and 300k laptop attacks on a weekly basis.
Business Development (BD)
Bain’s Business Development (BD) team leads development of the Bain Alliance Ecosystem (BAE), a curated network of partnerships that helps Bain clients and teams get better results faster. The team facilitates development and delivery of our partnerships through transaction support at key stage gates and one repeatable model for success.
