Debjit Banerjee is an associate partner and supply chain expert in Bain & Company's New York office. He is a member of Bain's Supply Chain Management practice with particular expertise in supply chain & network optimization.
Debjit is an expert advisor to Bain's case teams on supply chain, manufacturing and operational issues. He has extensive experience in developing supply chain strategy and carrying out transformative operational performance improvements focused on end to end supply chain encompassing S&OP, network optimization, manufacturing, logistics and distribution.
Debjit advises clients across a range of industries, including consumer products, retail, healthcare and industrial goods and services. In these client engagements, he has been known to create significant value for investors and corporations through financial and operational performance improvement as well as business turnarounds. He is an expert in developing and executing plans to deliver results with immediate impact on valuation through revenue growth, EBITDA improvement and cash flow management.
Prior to joining Bain, Debjit worked at AlixPartners, a turnaround and restructuring firm, where he was a Vice President in their Enterprise Improvement practice. Before switching to a consulting career he worked in corporate leadership roles for 14 years at global blue chip companies like Reckitt Benckiser, BP and Tyco.
He earned an MBA from Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a BE in chemical engineering from R. V. College of Engineering, Bangalore.
