Michael Cashman

Michael Cashman is a member of our Private Equity and Financial Services practices.

In his role at Bain, Michael spends most of his time leading due diligence and post-acquisition assignments for financial investors. Within diligence, he focuses primarily on financial services, fintech and digital assets, including payments, insurance, wealth management and banking. His corporate experience includes strategy projects for portfolio companies, as well as a range of projects for Bain’s financial services clients.

Prior to joining the firm full-time in 2013, Michael held a variety of roles at Deutsche Bank, honing experience in restructuring and wealth management. 

He holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and bachelor’s degrees in finance and management from Georgetown University.
