Julien Vermersch

Julien Vermersch is a member of Bain's Energy & Natural Resources and Results Delivery® practices.

Since joining the firm in 2007, he worked across a number of the firm’s offices, including Paris, Sydney and New Delhi. He moved to Johannesburg in 2013.

Julien’s primary focus is on full potential transformation programs. In these engagements, he advises clients on strategy, operating model and performance improvement topics, supporting them through to execution and results delivery, guiding them to drive sustainable change down to the frontline.

He has worked across a range of industrial sectors both globally and in Africa, including mining, oil & gas, chemicals and agribusinesses. Recently, Julien’s interests have expanded to digital transformation programs, particularly in helping his clients innovate with advanced analytics and agile ways of working.

Julien holds a master's degree in engineering from Ecole des Mines in Paris.
