Bain's annual private breakfast, hosted by Gadiesh, convened a select group of senior business leaders to listen to Bain Partner Eric Almquist, joined by guest speakers Jørgen Vig Knudstorp, executive chairman of LEGO Brand Group, and Maurice Lévy, chairman of the supervisory board of Publicis Groupe, to discuss what drives customer decisions and The Elements of Value.
Accelerating the Electric Mobility Revolution
In its fourth year of collaboration with the World Economic Forum on the Future of Electricity, Bain focused on innovation and transformation of the electricity grid at the "grid edge," along the three trends of decentralization, digitalization and electrification. The 2018 output translated into a report of recommendations to accelerate the convergence of urban mobility and energy transformations. Released in February 2018, the report was developed in collaboration with cities and leaders in energy and mobility.

The Future of Consumption in China
The Future of Consumption System Initiative of the World Economic Forum explores how the rapid pace of technological advancement can drive enhanced models of consumption with sustainable benefits for business and society, across developed and emerging markets. The Future of Consumption in Fast-Growth Consumer Markets – CHINA report highlights four major capabilities required for business to thrive in the Chinese consumer market over the next decade, the four key societal challenges that need to be overcome through public-private cooperation, and possible actions to build the future business capability and overcome societal challenges. The findings were presented in a closed-door session at the Future of Consumption System Initiative Stewards meeting during the Forum's Annual Meeting.
Digital Enterprise
In our initial year of collaboration with the World Economic Forum on the Digital Enterprise project, Bain focused on the key questions that CEOs need to answer in order to tackle the challenges of digitalization and to successfully transform their organizations into digital enterprises. The initial findings were presented at the Governor's meeting during the Annual Meeting of the Forum.
