Share your journey to Bain.
I've been working as a designer focused on digital products across several industries from automotive to sports and media, designing for screens and physical spaces. I had a first touch point with Bain when still living in Berlin thanks to a former Bainie and a great friend. What really intrigued me was acknowledging how design was becoming more and more a pillar of the modern strategic consultancy, nevertheless the impressive diversity of Bainies' backgrounds and the opportunity to be influenced by so many great minds.
How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?
As a designer, I was at a sort of a turning point for my career, therefore looking for a new challenge. I've always been attracted to switching to a more strategic role as well as looking for a more dynamic environment where I can collaborate and influence a wide range of industries. Bain literally felt like the company that would allow me to challenge myself with different projects and topics as well as an inclusive place where to find the right tools, culture and colleagues to help me further develop my professional and personal growth.
Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?
Be Bold! There're thousands of opportunities waiting in Bain in order to help and shape impactful services and solutions. What I find exciting about being a designer at Bain is challenging myself with different aspects of design from products to services. I must admit I get the most when having the chance to work on an end-to-end product where there's a huge opportunity to define the global overall strategy and then deep diving into shaping and delivering a great additional value to our customers through innovative solutions.
“Build Your Own Bain” means creating a thriving career on your own terms. How have you been able to “Build Your Own Bain?”
Thanks to Bain, I've been able to move to Milan and embrace a managerial role within Innovation and Design. This constantly allows me to be challenged in a completely new role, gain more knowledge on how to strategically find a balance between designing for users and businesses as well as having the chance to mentor more junior designers and help them grow professionally through professional development activities and projects.
