How did you know that Bain was the right company for you?
It's truly the culture of Bain that stood out to me as I went through recruiting and is still what keeps me excited about coming to work. The firm is full of people who challenge you to learn while never competing with one another, care about making a difference in the community locally and globally, and genuinely want to get to know you on a personal level whether that be as a friend, mentor, or all of the above. To this day, I firmly believe this is something unique that only Bain can offer.
Do you feel like you can do impactful work at Bain? What opportunities excite you?
Since joining Bain, I've realized how much of an impact we have on companies daily, whether it be unlocking a new market opportunity, supporting an innovation or acquisition that will disrupt an industry, or aiding in more constructive daily operations. As an associate consultant, I can directly see the influence that I am having on these companies, something not many people just a few years out of college get to experience.

My favorite case by far has been on a pro-bono case working with an organization to help reduce barriers to higher education. After working to close the gaps within their own institution, the organization is now serving to identify what obstacles students at other institutions may be facing to access education or complete their degree, oftentimes due to administrative and systemic barriers. Our team helped them in their early stages to determine best ways to serve and scale their mission. This included coaching on core client services skills and working to establish an engagement model with their client institutions.
